AgReliant Genetics Adds Chief Operating Officer

WESTFIELD, Ind., – December 22, 2014

AgReliant Genetics recently announced the promotion of Craig Anderson to Chief Operating Officer for the company. In this newly created role, Anderson will maintain his previous responsibility over the Sales & Marketing Department in addition to assuming leadership of the Operations and Business Development Departments. Craig Anderson will continue to report to Craig Newman, President and CEO.

“As the third largest seed corn company in North America, we felt the need to adjust our management strategy to more effectively direct and maintain our momentum and growth,” said Newman. “This new positon will allow me to focus on AgReliant’s other growing departments including Research, Human Resources, Finance, and Administration which will also be key to continuing our growth and success. Operations and Business Development align well with Craig’s previous leadership and experience. Moving forward, I’m confident that this new structure will allow us to continue providing superior products and service to our customers.”

With over 26 years of experience in the seed industry, Anderson has held various positions in AgReliant Genetics including Regional Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, LG Seeds Brand Manager, Vice President of Operations and most recently Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

This organizational change will be effective January 1, 2015.
